Right, so far Hogan is yet to make an appearance on iMpact, he has officials in the company worried already and many believe that he will never appear at a TNA iMpact show I wonder if Hogan is using TNA to gain publicity for his own tour and any other things he is bringing out in the future. Is it possible that Hulk has played TNA and created a fuss in order to get his name back in the wrestling headlines? Does Hogan even WANT to appear on TNA or does he have his own agenda?

Everything we have heard is all buzz from the Internet wrestling community. No one really knows what the deal is between Hogan and TNA. He could well be using the company for is own benefit or he could be appearong on iMPACT soon. You would think that TNA would want to use him as quickly as possible as it will make things start to happen for them sooner. No one knows for sure but it should all come to light over the next few weeks. I really hope TNA step up and Hogan does good by them.
Personally I think Hogan is using the company. When you think about all the reasons why Hogan could be using the company such as, to promote his up coming Hulk Hogan tour, maybe earn him some more media coverage?, and also get paid from TNA, didn't Hogan also trash TNA a few times as well in interviews? I don't remember if that is true or not.
Anyways the point is what would Hogan have to gain from joining TNA? Maybe money and that about it, except for maybe putting over the younger talent which Hogan has been known not to do.
When you think about it Hogan is most likely using the company for his own usage, to promote his Hulk Hogan Wrestling Tour, Media Coverage, Getting Paid from TNA, and maybe add more to his already finished carrer. Hogan doesn't really have much to gain from joining TNA except for Money, and maybe helping the younger talent succed in the wrestling industry.
As I have said in numerous other threads here Hogan is a great business man. This signing with TNA is all about him and will help him much more than TNA. He has a book out now and a tour to Australia soon and this will raise his profile and help him make even more money.
The recent interviews that Hogan has done are worrying when you read what he has been saying. It goes to show that he is losing his mind a bit with some of the delusional comments he has made.
Hogan not appearing live on TNA yet is a worry in my mind aswell. With a signing like that wouldn't you promote him as much as possible and right away get him into the ring to cut a promo in front of the fans. The fan reaction would be interesting since that fan base has been anti Hogan for so long I wonder if their reactions will change now that he is in TNA.
This entire situation went from good to bad REALLY fast...
What started as Hogan joining TNA to teach the lost art of wrestling (...right) and bringing the federation to a new height, with all these other big announcements to follow and Eric Bischoff following in step and tons of potential to shatter the glass ceiling they've been stuck under...now has become Hogan and Bischoff no-showing events, Hogan using TNA to promote himself and not the other way around, and the same tired "we will be better than the WWE, fuck the WWE" mindset that put that glass ceiling there in the first place...
This is just bad. TNA should have seen this coming. Honestly, I'm hoping that TNA just ends up cutting their losses down the road and gives Hogan a "thanks, but no thanks" to him participating and having that much control anymore. However, it's looking like the power they gave him may be enough rope to not only hang himself, but hang the entire federation as well.
Dixie Carter brought Hulk Hogan to TNA due to the publicity and media coverage they got from the news of his arrival. Hulk Hogan is an internationally recognised star and people who have not watched TNA before we made aware by the enhanced press as a result. Both parties had there own goals and opportunities to help themselves.
TNA got a section on tweeter and individuals were dicussing Hogan`s arrival and branching out to other sectors in technology. TNA did it for there own gains to increase global presence and in the hope that it would set the company into a superior position allowing them to compete with TNA. Never has there been as much talk about TNA as now, so Hogan has made his infleunce.
Hulk Hogan just recently finalised his divorce, had to pay court fees, alamony to his wife, has two children to support and himself to look after. Ofcourse the move to TNA was for his own personal financial gain, if TNA had offered Hogan to come to work for them voluntarily, Hogan would not accept but who would. The TNA/Hogan merger sets Hogan up in a decent economical position, he needed something full time with large pay to get him back into work and to better his own personal health. There were rumours that he contemplated killing himself, and in what Hogan has done for wrestling, as long as he is not provided with full control, not a bad move. TNAs future is somewhat is jeopardy, the money TNA is paying him is more than his worth to the company and his value in the long term. Hulk Hogan says he wants to teach TNA the lost art of pro-wrestling, just hope that TNA does not lose out in prowrestling.
What I find ironic is that in 2003 Hulk Hogan screwed over TNA. He had an agreement to join them and wrestle there. They shot that angle in Japan where Jarrett hits Hogan with a guitar and Jimmy Hart kept appearing on IMPACT promoting Hogan yet Hogan did nothing at all with TNA, he never even gave an interview from his home.
Hogan screwed them in 2003 and it sounds like it will happen yet again and it sounds like TNA didn't learn from their mistakes.
Or they could have the longest wait before a match in a feud and have Jarrett face Hogan on PPV six years after starting the feud!
Well, the one thing I don't see too many people considering is that if this collaboration goes south, all this publicity turns into TNA being seen in an extremely bad light. Sure, it may be good for now but this could very easily be the rise before the fall. If the world (metaphorically speaking) is watching to see what happens, and TNA ends up getting stained from Hogan and his actions, that's going to hurt them worse than anything else. Hogan is used to looking bad in the news. He can afford it, basically. TNA can not. This was a huge risk and it already appears that it wont be paying out beyond the initial shock of Hogan joining them.
well it makes you think if he is using tna because in his show hogan knows best he signed a 25 year deal the vince so how is it that he would go there you would think in that deal you wouldnt be able to like austin cant.
If Hogan is going into management with Dixie Carter- we may never see him ! I didnt even know who Dixie Carter was untill 2 weeks ago , as far as seeing her ! I dont look to see Hogan in action because of his back , which would be everyones target ! Instead I think Hogan will bring other wrestlers to TNA to represent him , such as the Nasty Boys have already been mentioned ! Ive always been a Hogan fan , and Id love to see him in action- but I dont think thats going to happen !
