I was noticing that tna is like wcw. The main reason is that tna is like the wrestling retirement home. Do any of you think the same and what are your thoughts?
...i swear to god if i have to see one more of these threads i am going to kill myself. this is one of those topics which has literally been done to death and no good has ever come of it. TNA fans are on one side, wwe fans are on the other i doubt it will ever be resolved

...So, I am a WWE, and TNA fan, what side am I oh Great one?
But, it parts, I see TNA as WCW, for some reasons.
One, it is taking a lot of past WWE stars. However, WCW would steel stars before they were released. TNA seems to get them few months after they were released.
Two, it is WWE's only competition in the states. However, at the moment, it poses no threat, I can see it raising if WWE doesn't step up the game.
Three, it is making released WWE wrestlers, stars. TNA knows how to push younger guys. But I think that has all ended now seeing how Hogan is there.

UCW Thunder's Dolph Ziggler 2-2-0
UCW Smackdown's New Age Rockers Marty Jannetty and Curt Hawkins 1-1-0

i was simply saying, this argument has been going on much too long. We all KNOW TNA is the 'wwe retirement home' we all know 'there isn't enough wrestling in TNA' we all know 'TNA doesn't push young stars' how many of these threads do we have to discuss again. I mean disrepect to the poster at all I'm simply sick of reading this argument over and over and over again.
I think there is striking similarities but not anything that every time I watch TNA I think of WCW. I mean TNA is a more younger roster and I say that loosely. I mean sure there is plenty of veterans to help put over the young talent but still nothing that would make me make the comparison to WCW yet.
LOL, I wouldn't know lately. My DTV DVR hasn't recorded TNA in weeks because in the program guide it's no longer TNA iMPACT, it's TNA Wrestling now. I just changed it yesterday.
Honestly, this is just the dumbest argument ever.
It is not like TNA is poaching superstars, most get released and of course still want to work... so why not go to TNA ffs?
It is one thing to be critical of TNA and WWE, but it is another to be a blatant fanboy of the WWE that refuses to see that both companies have their pros and cons.
As for not reading the thread - once you come into a thread and read the first post without knowing what its about, its a bit late to not read it, right... obvious troll?
Pyro getting a little fired up, who woulda thunk it - but this kind of discussion is just the kind of thing to do it.
we have a little thing called a three sentence rule...that's not even one. Also I'm glad to see I'm not the only one tired of this constantly rehashed argument. Anyone who believes hogan and co signing to TNA is license to reopen the TNA IS WCW thread we have 2 other threads already open to discuss that.
WCW 2.0 yeah we all know that, but without Ted Turner money behind it, it has some panda drink money behind it, so no TNA won't be a big threat like WCW was, Dixie Carter is obviously way over her head, and doesn't really understand the business, kind of like Bischoff in the late 90s before he was fired.
